About LogFolio
Practical SIWES guidance, written for the student doing the work
LogFolio helps Nigerian university, polytechnic, and college students turn real industrial training notes into clear records. Our guides explain the difficult parts in plain language without pretending that one format fits every institution.
Useful before impressive
Every article starts with a real student question and aims to leave the reader with a structure, example, or checklist they can use immediately.
Honest examples
Examples demonstrate good reporting. They are not experiences to copy. Students should only document tasks they actually performed or observed.
Checked for clarity
The LogFolio Editorial Team reviews each guide for readable Nigerian English, internal consistency, useful headings, and responsible use of AI.
How our articles are prepared
We choose topics from recurring SIWES questions: what belongs in a daily entry, how a technical report is arranged, what a first week should contain, and how to describe practical work without inventing details.
Drafts are organized around the reader's task, then reviewed for accuracy, usefulness, repetition, and tone. Where institutional requirements can differ, the guide says so and asks the student to confirm the final format with a departmental coordinator or supervisor.
AI may assist with outlining or language review, but published articles receive editorial review before release. The byline identifies the team responsible for that review.
